Bamboo Airways raises charter capital to 814 million USD

The Bamboo Airways Joint Stock Company has raised its charter capital to 18.5 trillion VND (814 million USD) from 16 trillion VND, according to the National Business Registration Portal.

Hanoi (VNA) – The Bamboo Airways JointStock Company has raised its charter capital to 18.5 trillion VND (814 millionUSD) from 16 trillion VND, according to the National Business RegistrationPortal.

This is the fourth time the carrier has increased its chartercapital since the beginning of 2021.

The additional capital, which is private capital, didn’tchange the proportion of ownership.

Data from the business showed that at the time of June1, the largest shareholder of Bamboo Airways was Trinh Van Quyet, Chairman ofthe Board of Directors of this firm, as well as FLC Group, FLC Holding Capital,and FLC Faros, with a 94-percent stake.

The remaining 5.75 percent was owned by other individualand organisation shareholders.

In the latest change in April, the airline had itscharter capital raised from 12.5 trillion VND to 16 trillion VND./.
