Politburo member and President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam To Lam has been elected as General Secretary of the 13th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), securing 100% of the approval votes.
President To Lam on August 2 emphasised the need to reform the “All people’s security safeguarding” movement in terms of both form and content while attending a festival in this regard in Cua Dong ward in Hoan Kiem district of Hanoi.
The Party and State of Vietnam always attach great importance to and give top priority to the development of Vietnam–China relations.
