Hanoi (VNA)🌳 - The seventh Congress of the Central Public SecurityParty Organisation for the 2020-2025 tenure concluded on October 13, withrepresentatives elected to the 13th National Party Congress.
The congress discussed and agreed to approveseveral important documents, including a political report from the CentralPublic Security Party Organisation, one reviewing the leadership of the CentralPublic Security Party Committee in the 2015-2020 tenure, and another collectingideas from officers and Party members on the Party Central Committee’s draftdocuments to be submitted to the 13th National Party Congress.
Documents approved at the congress affirm that,in any circumstances, the Public Security force has absolute loyalty to theFatherland, the Party, the State, and the people, and promotes its core role inmaintaining political stability, safeguarding national security, ensuring socialorder and safety, and effectively preventing social conflict risks to create apeaceful, stable, and safe environment for national development.
The congress adopted tasks for the Party Organisationin the next tenure, with determination to further enhance its leadership and fightingcapacity and build a pure and strong force towards an elite and modern one by2030.
Politburo member and Minister of PublicSecurity, General To Lam, said that to fulfil its tasks, the force’s most importantand decisive mission is to maintain and intensify the Party’s absolute anddirect leadership in all aspects, and build a pure and strong Central PublicSecurity Party Organisation and local Public Security Party Organisations./.
The Ministry of Public Security was awarded a first-class Military Exploit Order at a ceremony held in Hanoi on August 16 to mark its 75th traditional day (August 19) and the 15th anniversary of “All people protect national security” festival (August 19).
Party General Secretary and President Nguyen Phu Trong on September 21 chaired a working session between the Politburo and the standing board of the Central Public Security Party Committee to collect feedback on draft documents and personnel work for submission to the seventh Congress of the Central Public Security Party Organisation for the 2020-2025 period.
The seventh Congress of the Central Public Security Party Organisation for the 2020-2025 period will take place from October 11 to 13 in Hanoi, according to the Ministry of Public Security.
The seventh Congress of the Central Public Security Party Organisation for the 2020-2025 tenure opened in Hanoi on October 12 morning, with the attendance of Politburo member and Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.
