Coach Park Hang-seo to go on European scouting mission

Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s head coach ParkHang-seo will travel to Europe in the coming days to meet overseas Vietnameseplayers who are looking for a slot in the national team.
Park will be scouting goalkeeper Filip Nguyen inthe Czech Republic and striker Alex Dang in Norway.
27-year-old Filip, 1.9m, plays for SlovanLiberec FC, who have a chance of qualifying for the Europa League nextseason.
Meanwhile, Alex, 29, scored 13 goalsfor Nest-Sotra last season.
According to the Vietnam Football Federation(VFF), Park will also meet with other players during his time in Europe.
Vietnam and the U23 squads will beannounced later this month.
The national team will compete at the King’s Cupin Thailand from June 5-8 while the U23s will play a friendly againstMyanmar on June 7 in Hanoi.-VNA
Vietnam’s U23 team beat Thailand 4-0 in the last match of Group K within the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U23 Championship qualifiers at Hanoi’s My Dinh Stadium on March 26, securing a berth in the final rounds in Thailand next year.

Vietnam’s team have won the U19 International Football Championship after beating Thailand 1-0 in the final in Nha Trang city, south central Khanh Hoa province.
