College inaugurates Truong Sa sovereignty monument

An obelisk representing Truong Sa island’s sovereignty marker was inaugurated on the Nha Trang Vocational Tourism College campus on January 29.
An obelisk representing Truong Sa island’s sovereignty marker wasinaugurated on the Nha Trang Vocational Tourism College campus onJanuary 29. The monument, standing 4.5 metres high and 2.4metres wide and build out of concrete and steel rods, represents thespirit of solidarity and determination to protect the national marineterritorial sovereignty.
Its presence on the campus isdesigned to raise awareness and understanding of the East Sea disputeand Vietnam’s sovereignty over Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagoes. Thedrive was organised in honor of the 85th anniversary of the founding ofthe Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) on February 3 rd 1930 by the NhaTrang Vocational Tourism College under the Ministry of Culture, Sportsand Tourism.-VNA
