Hanoi (VNA) – Chairman of the National AssemblyVuong Dinh Hue has extended his congratulations to Anthony Rota over the latter's 🌼re-election as Speakeꦯr of the House of Commons of Canada.
In his letter, NA Chairman Hue expressed his delight at the sounddevelopment of the Vietnam-Canada comprehensive partnership across multiplefields. The friendship between legislative bodies of the two nations has beenmaintained and fostered. He voiced a hope to continue working with Rota to deepen thecountries’ comprehensive partnership at large and the cooperation between thetwo parliaments in particular, for the sake of the people of Vietnam and Canada andfor peace, stability and development in the region and the world. The two countries set up diplomatic ties on August 21, 1973./.
