Countries in the region partake in U14 girl contest

The under-14 (U14) female football teams from eight countries in Southeast Asia will compete in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U14 Girls’ Regional Championship 2015.
The under-14 (U14) female football teams from eight countries inSoutheast Asia will compete in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC)U14 Girls’ Regional Championship 2015.

Thecompetition, the third in Vietnam, will take place from June 23-28 atthe Vietnam Youth Football Training Centre in Hanoi.

Based on a random draw, Vietnam is in Group B with Singapore,Malaysia and the Philippines. The Group A includes Thailand, Myanmar,Cambodia and Laos.

Teams will play in theround-robin format with the two top teams in each group advancing to thesemi-finals. Matches consist of two halves with each lasting for 35minutes.-VNA
