Singapore’sFinance Minister Heng Swee Keat and his Malaysian counterpart Tengku ZafrulAziz on May 19 discussed economic recovery measures via a video conference as COVID-19restrictions are gradually eased.

In a Facebook post on May20, Heng Swee Keat, who is also Singapore’sDeputy Prime Minister, said the discussion was centred on the COVID-19 situation inboth countries and around the world.

"We sharedlearning points on this battle - from measures to contain the spread of thevirus, to support for our companies and households," he wrote.

Thetwo ministers also discussed exploring areas to strengthen bilateral cooperation.

They reaffirmed their longstanding and multi-faceted bilateralrelationship and the need to collaborate with each other./.
