According to Bernama, the ship, carrying 6,000 tonnes of tin ore fromIndia ’s Calcutta en route to China , capsized 48 nautical miles fromLumut of Malaysia’s Perak on August 30.
The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) said it sent threepatrol boats to the scene to deploy search and rescue of the victimsafter receiving the news.
MMEA patrol boats then brought the saved crew members, including three Myanmar persons, to Pangkor Island , Perak.
