Cua Lo Tourism Festival takes place

The 2013 Cua Lo Tourism Festival opened on April 30 in the central province of Nghe An with interesting music and firework performances.

The festival will include activities such as a worshipping ceremony at Van Loc Temple in Nghi Tan Ward,a procession ceremony from the Van Loc temple to Binh Minh Square; singingand dancing performances; boat racing and traditional games.

This is an opportunity for Cua Lo town in particularand Nghe An province in general to introduce traditional cultures aswell as unique tourism products to a large number of visitors.

Far from Vinh city about 16km to the east and the Hanoi capital about300km to the south, with a coastline of 10.2 km, Cua Lo beach isbecoming an attractive destination for domestic and foreign tourists.

At present, Cua Lo town has 246 accommodationestablishments with 6,453 rooms capable of serving 18,000 guests.

In2012, the town welcomed over 1.9 million tourists, including 5,200 foreigners. and the figure expected for this year will be 2,1 million and 5,600 respectively.-VNA
