Local runners outperformed nearly 3,400 other athletes, including 385foreigners from 24 countries and territories to win both the marathon(more than 42 kilometres) and half marathon (more than 21 kilometres)races.
Pham Van Long came first in the marathon run in a time of 2h56’31”.
In the half marathon category, Le Van Tuan won the first prize formen with the result of 1h16’. Meanwhile, Pham Thi Binh, also fromVietnam , took 1h24’14” to successfully finish her race.
During the event, Da Nang city implemented various measures toensure security for the competition and safety for participants.-VNA
