Da Nang: IT students trained in Japanese

The FPT Software Da Nang company and universities in the central city will work together to train information technology (IT) students in the Japanese language.
The FPT Software Da Nang company and universities in the central city will work together to train information technology (IT) students in the Japanese language. Under an agreement signed in Da Nang on September 22, IT students meeting the N3 level of Japanese proficiency or higher are able to work for the company, including those in their third year who have the opportunity to intern. The company will also transfer its language training syllabi to educational establishments and offer annual scholarships to outstanding students.
Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Huynh Duc Tho said the signing reflects the responsible commitment of the recruiter and universities, pledging all possible support to their joint collaboration.
Da Nang has set its sight on advanced information technology and quality workforce training for the future, he stated. Hoang Viet Anh, General Director of FPT Software Da Nang, highlighted that Japan is gravely in need of IT workers. In order to help Japan resolve the problem, FPT Software is undertaking the programme BridgeSE to train 10,000 engineers, half of them will study in Vietnam while the other half will go to Japan and take a seven-month Japanese course.-VNA
