Denmark sponsors Vietnam’s contemporary arts projects

The Denmark – Vietnam Cultural Development Exchange Fund (CDEF) will subsidise over 100,000 USD to eight contemporary arts projects in Vietnam in December.
The Denmark – Vietnam Cultural Development Exchange Fund (CDEF) willsubsidise over 100,000 USD to eight contemporary arts projects inVietnam in December.

At a press conference inHanoi on November 27, Danish Ambassador and Chairman of CDEF JohnNielsen said that the projects cover dance, visual art, music andmultimedia.

He also expressed his hope for moreproject registration of artists from all corners of the country, inaddition to big cities such as Hanoi, Hue, Da Nang, or Ho Chi Minh City.

Implemented from 2011 to 2015, CDEF has so farfinanced nearly 500,000 USD for some 70 contemporary arts projects inVietnam.

It is part of the 1 million USD Vietnam – Denmark Cultural Development Cooperation programme.-VNA

Exhibition features President Ho Chi Minh as founder of Vieꦿtnam’s revolutionary press

The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
