At the Vietnam International Travel Mart 2019 that ran from March 27-30 in Hanoi, for the first time, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) carried out tourism promotion activities, hoping to attract more Vietnamese holidaymakers.
Representatives of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea’s tourism delegation said the country’s tourism has seen progress in recent years with more tourism policies have been introduced in order to lure morꦆe 🅰tourists from Asian and Middle Eastern countries and the US, among others.
They also said the DPRK haꦇs considered Vietnam a potential tourism market. It expects 🎶to welcome 3,000 Vietnamese touirsts this year, 10 times more than in 2018.-VNA
