Thediplomat, the first Vietnamese ambassador to the country, made theremarks while presenting his credentials to Equatorial GuineaPresident Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo in Malabo.

President TeodoroObiang Nguema Mbasogo said his country admires Vietnam’s victory inthe past struggle for independence as well as the success that it hasgained in national construction and development.
Hesaid that Equatorial Guinea hopes that Vietnam, with its currentposition, will further boost economic cooperation with the country inboth bilateral and South-South cooperation frameworks.
This will make positive contributions to the implementation of the2020 Vision of the Equatorial Guinea Government to make the country annewly – emerging nation, he said.-VNA
