CJ E&M, the leading entertainment and media content company of the Republic of Korea, will open the first overseas television channel exclusively for airing “hallyu” content in Vietnam, Malaysia and Hong Kong (China).

Seoul (VNA) – CJ E&M, the leading entertainment and media content company ofthe Republic of Korea, will open the first overseas television channelexclusively for airing “hallyu” content in Vietnam, Malaysia and Hong Kong(China).
The companysaid on April 3 that it plans to launch a channel called “TV Blue” in Vietnam,“tvN Movies” in Malaysia, and “CJ Entertainment Pack” in Hong Kong to providefans there with Korean movies, pictures and K-pop music.
TV Blue willbe operated by the company’s unit in Vietnam, CJ Blue Corp., by leasing theVietnamese TV channel VTC5 by 2022.
After thepilot service, it will go into full service in June.-VNA
