Exhibition lives up “Dien Bien Phu battle in the air”

More than 600 documents, including books, newspapers, paintings and photos on the “Dien Bien Phu battle in the air” victory collected from inside and outside the country are on display in Hanoi from December 26.

The exhibition gives visitors a deep and comprehensive insight of the nation’s great victory 40 years ago.

Hanoi in 12 memorable days and nights during the B52 raids inDecember 1972 is also vividly depicted through the exhibition.

Showcasing at the exhibition are documentations on the history of theestablishment and development as well as the glorious triumphs of theVietnam Air Defence - Air Force.

The exhibition alsointroduces documentations relating to the Paris Accord signed onJanuary 27, 1973 and the US ’s violation of the peace agreement andanti-war campaigns around the world.

The event will run until December 31.-VNA

ဣ Vietnam re-elected to 2005 UNESCO Convention’s Intergovernmental Committee
