First Beautycare Expo kicks off in Hanoi

Hanoi (VNA) – The Beautycare Expo – an internationalexhibition for beauty products, technologies, and services – opened in Hanoi onJanuary 9.

The first edition of the expo features exhibitors from countries andterritories around the world, including Canada, the US, Italy, Israel, India,Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Vietnam.
The nearly 200 booths are showcasing beauty technologies and equipment,cosmetics, perfumes, hair care products, nutritional foods, beauty salon andaesthetic equipment, and others.

The event offers Vietnamese firms access to modern technology so theycan develop their products and seek potential partners to expand their markets.

Leading enterprises in the beauty industry like VINHY Company andQuantum Heathcare are showcasing the latest technologies, such as laser,intense pulse light, radiofrequency, and high-intensity focused ultrasound;while NEU Skin is introducing anti-ageing products and high-qualitycosmeceutical products from the US and the UK.

Alongside high-tech products for hospitals and beauty salons, exhibitorshave also been introducing mini spa equipment. Many pavilions allow visitors totry new products, or even new hairstyles and other activities.

The expo is also hosting the first Vietnam Korea Master Beauty Contest,which is designed to honour artisans in seven segments – hair styling, skincare, nail care, make-up, massage and acupuncture, tattoo spraying, and eyelashextension – with lucrative prizes for the winners.

Seminars at the expo will facilitate the transfer of technologiesrelated to natural product lines for skin and hair and other beauty fields byinternational firms to their Vietnamese counterparts.
