Hanoi (VNA)🃏 – Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son has affirmed thatVietnam always treasures and wishes to enhance all-around cooperation with Poland.
During areception in Hanoi on October 13 for Polish Ambassador to Vietnam Wojciech Gerwel,Son suggested both sides continue facilitating the exchange of visits by senior leaders and officials of ministries and agencies to foster political trust and mutualunderstanding, thus laying a foundation to expand bilateral collaboration invarious fields. He thanked the Polish Government and people fordonating 501,600 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine to Vietnam and key medicalsupplies to Ho Chi Minh City to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. This week, Poland willalso deliver 890,000 doses of AstraZeneca to Vietnam. Sonhailed Poland as the biggest trade partner of Vietnam in Central and Eastern Europe. Two-way trade wasmaintained at an impressive figure in the first eight months of this year, reaching 1.67billion USD.
Thehost proposed Poland soon ratify the European Union – Vietnam Investment ProtectionAgreement (EVIPA) and launch the bilateral economic cooperation consultationmechanism to tap benefits brought about by the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA)and the EVIPA.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son affirmed Vietnam attaches importance to and wants to foster cooperation across all fields with Poland during a phone talks with his Polish counterpart Zbigniew Rau on April 20.
