Hanoi (VNA) – Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son received new Cuban Ambassador toVietnam Orlando Nicolás Hernández Guillén in Hanoi on July 23.
⛄ Theminister asked the diplomat to uphold activities of the Vietnam – Cuba Inter-GovernmentalCommittee and other bilateral cooperation mechanisms as well as promote measures to expand and enhance bilateralties in fields that match each side’s potential and strengths, particularly health care, COVID-19 vaccine supply and vaccine production technology transfer./.
Vietnam always attaches much importance to and wants to deepen its special friendship with Cuba, General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee Nguyen Phu Trong has said.
Assoc. Prof. Dr Nguyen Viet Thao, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Association, on June 23 highlighted the solidarity, special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries, affirming Vietnamese people always stand side by side with Cuba.
