Hanoi (VNA) – The Forest Sector Support Partnership (FSSP) will shift its focus to climate change and the sustainable protection of wildlife animals and forest in the years to come.

The FSSP will also seek the effective cooperation in new technologies to help Vietnam restructure the forestry sector.

Nguyen Tuong Van, Deputy Director of the FSSP Office, said emerging problems, especially those relating to climate change, and the integration trend have changed sponsorship methods, with many new financial cooperation institutions emerging to replace the traditional ways, thus requiring the forestry sector to develop a new cooperation mechanism accordingly.

🐈 In the past 15 years, the FSSP has always closely supported the forestry sector for sustainable development in its role as a policy forum with the participation of governmental agencies, international partners and enterprises.-VNA
