Fourteen artifacts recognised as national treasures

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has signed a decision to recognise 14 artifacts as national treasures.

Hanoi (VNA) - Prime MinisterNguyen Xuan Phuc has signed a decision to recognise 14 artifacts asnational treasures.

These include the Linga-Yoni statue dating from the 5th to 7th century and heldat the Tra Vinh Museum; Tra Liên 1 and Tra Liên 2 bas-reliefs from the end ofthe 9th century and found at the central QuangTri Museum; and Brahamabas-relief of the 12th to 13th century at the Binh Dinh Museum.

Thong gom hoa nau (a ceramic jar with brown colored glaze patterns) from the13th to 14th century and held at the National History Museum and mummifiedmonks Vu Khac Minh and Vu Khac Truong from the 17th century in Dau pagoda in ThuongTin district of Hanoi are also in the list.

Tran Vu statue from the 17th to early 18th century at the QuanThanh temple,Hanoi and the decree of the president of the provisional government of theDemocratic and Republic of Vietnam from 1945-1946 at the National Store CentreIII are named.
The Prime Minister has also requested theMinistry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and concerned agencies and departmentsto carry out management work, in accordance with the law on cultural heritage-VNA

🐎 Vietnam re-elected to 2005 UNESCO Convention’s Intergovernmental Committee

The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
