Hanoi (VNA) 🌊–The French food festival 2024 named “Balade En France” was opened in Hanoi onApril 5 under the auspices of the French embassy in Vietnam and the municipal People’sCommittee.
Taking place to April 7,the festival boasts nearly 80 pavilions, about 50% more than the last year’sedition, offering famous French food and demonstrations by chiefs. French Ambassador OlivierBrochet affirmed the event honours the French food and creates a chance toemphasise the France-Vietnam cultural cooperation. Within the framework ofthe festival, a space of 300sq.m. will be marked off into a sport village to popularisethe upcoming Paris Olympic and Paralympic. Besides, there will be a streetdance event called “Balade En France - All in One 2024” to be performed bystudents of schools in the Francophone block in Hanoi. First held in 2018, thefestival drew 300,000 visits last year in its three days./.

French gastronomy will come into the spotlight with the screenings of documentary and feature films by young French directors during a film month scheduled for March 12-27 in Hanoi.
