German duo AB Syndrom, Vietnamese artist to perform in Hanoi

Hanoi (VNA) – German AB Syndrom band andVietnamese artist Linh Ha will perform in Hanoi’s Tuoi Tre Theatre in Hanoi onOctober 20, according to the Goethe Institute.
AB Syndrom is the ninth German band invited by the instituteto perform in Southeast Asia. Linh Ha, who has worked with the band in a musicproject in Germany, will accompany the duo during their tour of Vietnam.
The Berlin duo ABSyndrom and the unusual beats of their musichave been rocking the German music scene since 2007. They are popular inSpotify and German radio (radioeins, Fritz, Deutschlandfunk, Nova). Theirsecond album Hey Herz made the Radio Fritz “Sound of 2017” list.
Vietnamese artist Linh Ha is an equally accomplished musician who usesher unique voice, a variety of percussion instruments, and a looper to createmultidimensional soundscapes. Combining traditional Vietnamese vocaltechniques, her personal lyrics, and a variety of other influences from pop totechno, Linh Ha concocts opulent, sonorous harmonies, sampled hissing noises,and peaceful lullabies into refined, impressive songs.
Along with Hanoi, the concertwill be held in Da Nang, Hue and Ho Chi Minh City on October 27, 28 and 30,respectively./.
German director Dominik Gunther from Hamburg and puppeteers from Dresden are cooperating with the Hanoi-based Youth Theatre to stage a play entitled Fisherman and a Golden Fish.
