German photographer explores Hanoi, Paris

German photographer Matthias Meyer will unveil his exhibition entitled Disorientation – A Small Paris in Hanoi at the Goethe Institute from July 21.
German photographer Matthias Meyer will unveil his exhibition entitledDisorientation – A Small Paris in Hanoi at the Goethe Institute fromJuly 21.

The exhibition showcases Meyer's art project that he started in 2011.

Hehas been using a particular kind of photography to discover and presentthe secret parts and the coexistence of different cultures in thecityscapes of Hanoi and Paris using double exposure.

Theexhibition will present 20 pictures that display clever superimpositionson how strongly the two cities are related to each other.

Thecombination of different space, colour and contrast in the photographsemphasise the architectural heritage Hanoi and Paris share.

The exhibition will run until July 26.-VNA

Exhibition features President Ho Chi Minh as 🧔founder of Vietnam’s revolutionary press

The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
