Government launches action programme for effective political system
The Government has just issued Resolution 10/NQ-CP launching an action programme on implementing Resolution 18-NQ/TW on reforming and reorganising the apparatus of the political system.
Hanoi (VNA) – The Government hasjust issued Resolution 10/NQ-CP launching an action programme on implementing Resolution18-NQ/TW on reforming and reorganising the apparatus of the politicalsystem towards streamlined, effective and efficient operation, dated October25, 2017, and other related legal documents.
According to the programme, the Governmentrequested ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies and governmentalbodies, chairmen of provincial, central-city People’s Committees, to developand issue Plans on implementing the resolution and related legal documents onreforming the organisation and management system, enhancing the quality andeffectiveness of public bodies.
The Ministry of Justice chairs and workswith relevant bodies to make proposals to the Government to report to theNational Assembly on the programme to develop a supplementary law and ordinancemaking programme in 2018 onwards, with the focus on the laws and ordinancesthat need to be issued or revised serving the purpose.
Ministers, heads of ministerial-levelagencies and governmental bodies, chairmen of provincial, central-city People’sCommittees are responsible for instructing, monitoring the implementation ofthe Government’s programme and their plans, and making annual reports to theMinistry of Internal Affairs before December 10 for summary and reporting tothe Government.
The Minister of Internal Affairs is incharge and works with relevant ministries, agencies, and localities to monitorand push the implementation of the programme, make annual reports to theGovernment by December 31 while advising the Government on necessary measuresto ensure comprehensive and effective implementation of the programme.
During implementing the resolution,ministers, heads of ministerial-level agencies and governmental bodies,chairmen of provincial, central-city People’s Committees should actively makeproposals to the Ministry of Internal Affairs on any contents that need to berevised for for summary and report to the Government.
