HaiPhong (VNA) – More than 200 antiques, including stone artifactsfrom the Late Neolithic Era, are on display at Hai Phong Museum in the northern port city of Hai Phong from November 21.
Jointly organized by HaiPhong Museum in collaboration with the municipal antiques association, the exhibition is part of activities tomark the 78th anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23, 1945 – 2023).
Director of Hai Phong Museum Bui Thi Nguyet Nga said the exhibition is hoped to bring interesting experiences to visitors and help them understand moreabout the precious cultural heritage left by the ancestors.
The exhibition features a variety of antiques from the stone age of the LateNeolithic Era, working tools of prehistoric people, bronze objects and artifactsof the Le - Nguyen dynasties, and ceramic antiquities, among other items that delineate tales of ancient heritage.
The diversity and uniqueness of each artifact clearly represents Vietnameseculture, affirming the identity of an independent and civilized country.
The event will last until the end of April 2024./.

Ho Chi Minh City is launching a series of cultural activities to celebrate the 17th anniversary of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day (November 23, 2005-2022).
A festival showcasing the traditional costumes of ethnic minority groups in the northern region will be held in late November to honour and promote the traditional cultural values of ethnic groups and contribute to developing tourism across the region.
The management board of Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter on November 18 kicked off a wide range of activities in the Old Quarter in the capital city to mark the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day which falls on November 23.
The ambassador noted that among the 300,000 Vietnamese residing in the RoK, around 3,000 are living in Pyeongtaek and contributing actively to the local economy. Ho expressed his hope that the local authorities will continue support the overseas Vietnamese community in the city.
This is the first time since the adoption of the Convention that a country has served two consecutive terms on the Committee. For the first time, the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) has granted Vietnam hosting rights for the two championships, including the Asian women’s solo category, which debuts this year as an officially recognised event.
