Hanoi (VNA) – ꦡThe capital city of Hanoi will carry out various measures to reach the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) growth target of 6.5-7%, and keep the inflation rate under 4% for the whole year 2024.

Under a plan recently signed by Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Tran Sy Thanh, departments, sectors, and localities have received guidelines on monetary policies, removing bottlenecks for enterprises, and the public capital disbursement plan. Their focus must be on the development of such key areas as industry, service, construction, and agro-forestry-fisheries.
They will work towards the expansion of the GRDP by 6.7-7.6%, exports 7.4%, and index of industrial production 10.73% in Q3, while the figures for the next quarter are 7.2-8.1%, 4.6%, and 11.5%, respectively. Thanh ordered departments, sectors and branches, as well as the People’s Committees of districts and township to effectively accomplish their missions. The Department of Planning and Investment is requested to work with relevant sides to keep a close watch on the implementation of the plan./.
