HCM City, Kagoshima look forward to expanding ties

Japan now has over 200 business representative offices and 300investment projects worth over 3.4 billion USD in HCM City. In January –June, another 24 Japanese firms poured over 530 million USD in thecity, Quan told visiting Mayor of Kagoshima city Mori Hiroyuki on July9.
The Kagoshima mayor, for his part, said he is actively promoting bilateral ties with Vietnamese localities.
The facilitation of exchanges between enterprises and students willraise mutual understanding between the two cities, the guest said.
He also took the occasion to invite a delegation of children from HCMCity to Kagoshima to attend an arts festival this October.-VNA

Cheng stressed that this is third time PM Chinh has attended the meeting and he is among the few senior government officials participating in this year's event, which is considered as a rare and commendable gesture.
The fact that the Vietnamese PM has been invited to attend and speak at this important event for three consecutive years reflects the WEF as well as the international business community's recognition and high regard for Vietnam's position, role, and contributions to global and regional economic growth.
