Vietnamese dancer shines on the world stage
Nguyen Trong Nha Uyen has made history for Vietnam’s dancesport by clinching a bronze medal in the solo Latin category at the WDSF World Championship 2025 in Germany.
Ho Chi Minh City’s People’s Committee has recently launched aprogramme to preserve the city's civilian and artistic architecturalitems, according to Tuoi Tre newspaper.
The programme dictatesthat the list of all of the city’s artistic, iconic individual andcollective architectural items which were and will be ranked accordingto the Cultural Heritage Law is expected to be completed by the end ofthis year.
The list will be managed by the Geographic InformationSystem (GIS), which integrates hardware, software, and data to capture,manage, analyse, and display all forms of geographically referencedinformation.
The programme also calls for the establishment of anagency which specialises in safeguarding the city’s architectural itemsand landscapes.
Earlier, the committee issued a list of 108architectural works in HCMC to be conserved which are categorized bytypes and areas.-VNA
