HCM City sets to host 7 firework displays on National Reunification Day

Ho Chi Minh City plans to host firework displays at seven locations to mark the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - 2025).

HCM City (VNA) – Ho Chi Minh City plans to host firework displays at seven locations to mark the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - 2025).

The information was revealed by Vo Ho Hoang Vu, Chief of Office of the municipal Department of Culture and Sports, at a conference on the city’s socio-economic issues on March 6.

The locations include Saigon River Tunnel (Thu Duc city), Ben Duoc Martyrs Memorial (Cu Chi district), Nga Ba Giong Martyrs Memorial (Hoc Mon district), Lang Le - Bau Co relic site (Binh Chanh district), Can Gio district football field, National Historical - Cultural Park and Dam Sen Cultural Park.

🐼 In addition, the Ho Chi Minh City Command is calling on districts and businesses to provide support for holding fireworks displays at their localities.

The fireworks displays are expected to entertain local residents and tourists during this important national event, Vu said./.
