After winning an Olympic gold medal in 2016,Vinh retained the top place for more than one year, but failed in recentinternational tournaments and has fallen one place.
Japanese Matsuda Tomoyuki has risen to the No 1seat. He was voted best shooter in 2017, according to the InternationalShooting Sport Federation.
Vinh’s teammate Tran Quoc Cuong is at No 13.

The U23 competition will run from June 16 to 22, followed by the U17 event from June 23 to 28, while athletes competing in the U23 category will undergo weight and skill checks ahead of the matches starting June 18, while similar checks for U17 athletes will take place before June 23.
