On September 6, Hoi An’s Centre for Culture and Sports ishosting a traditional Lion Dance competition at Hoai River Square andshowcasing calligraphy and ancient writing.
Moreover, thetown’s wards and communes are running their own recreational programmesfor young children in celebration of the festival.
Thehighlight of the festival, the "Hoi An Legendary Night", features alantern parade and lion dances through the city’s ancient streets.
The festival is taking place from September 6-8.
HoiAn also recently hosted a Bai Choi singing competition, a rare treatfor visitors to the Ancient Town, in celebration of National Day(September 2nd)
