– The current hot spell is likelꦚy to continue heating up the northern and region and the central coast in the next 3-4 days.

According to the National Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting (NCHMF), the highest temperature during daytime will hover around 35-37 degrees C, even reaching 38-39 degrees C in some areas, including Hanoi. The temperature will stay above 35 degrees C for 11-17 hours a day, it said. The northern and central coastal regions have been baking in hot weather for the past several days, with the temperature hovering around 36-37 degree C. At around 13:00 on June 12, the temperature was measured at 38.2 degrees C in Huong Khe district of central Ha Tinh province, 38 degrees C in Dong Ha city of central Quang Tri province and 37.8 degrees C in central Da Nang City .-VNA
