Hanoi (VNA) – The third HueInternational Hot Air Balloon Festival will take place from April 27-29 in thecentral province of Thua Thien-Hue.
The event will see the performance of ten balloons from Thailand, Malaysia,Japan, the Netherland, and host Vietnam.
Visitors to the event will havethe chance to enjoy a balloon ride to see Hue ancient capital city from adifferent perspective as well as performances put on by hot air balloons, andtake photos with the colourful hot air balloons.
The festival, which is sponsored by Balloons Over Hue Co., Ltd, is expected tohave a total estimated expenditure of 3 billion VND (129,000 USD), Radio theVoice of Vietnam reported.
Thua Thien-Hue aims toattract about 4.7 million visitors in 2019 with 45 percent being foreigners, arise of about 7 percent year on year.
