Hanoi (VNA) -The annual Hindu festival of colours will be organisedsoon in Hanoi.

The Holi festival is famous for paint-throwing revellers showering each otherwith colour, representing a tradition that is both meant to reflect the rainbowof colours associated with springtime and the playfulness of Hindu God Vishnu.

The event is commonly referred to as the festival of love – it celebrates thearrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil.

The event, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the IndianBusiness Chamber in Vietnam, will take place at Kinder Park in Hanoi on March19 between 11am and 3pm.

Tickets can be purchased at the Indian Business Chamber in Vietnam, which is onthe seventh floor of the ATS Building on 252 Hoang Quoc Viet Street in Hanoi.

The prices, which include coloured powder, food, drinks and music, are 600,000VND (27.20 USD) for an adult and 200,000 VND (9.00 USD) for a child.-VNA
