Iran film week 2025 opens window into Iranian culture

Hanoi (VNA) - The Iran Film Week 2025 is set to run from April 11 to 15 in Hanoi, offering Vietnamese audiences a deeper understanding of Iranian culture through cinema, reported Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV)

Iranian Ambassador to Vietnam Ali Akbar Nazari expressed his delight at bringing Iranian films to the Vietnamese capital, emphasising that the event will feature cultural values and highlight cinema’s role in enhancing connections between nations.

Throughout the week, local film enthusiasts will experience contemporary Iranian cinema through five acclaimed films that explore themes of family and love. The lineup includes Fragrant, A Passenger from Ganora, Beyro, In the Arms of the Tree, and Goodbye Shirazi Girl.

🌸 Jointly organised by the Embassy of Iran in Vietnam and the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the event is free to the public. All screenings will take place at the National Cinema Centre, with films presented in Iranian and accompanied by both Vietnamese and English subtitles./.
