Hanoi (VNA) - The Japan Foundation Centre for Cultural Exchange in Vietnamwill present its 13th Garage Concert on December 16.
TheChristmas themed concert will feature 22 singers and musicians and a stringsquartet from the Vietnam Orchestra and Ballet (VNOB).
The concert will featurefamous Christmas carols, including Silent Night, Joy to the World, Halleluja!,Pachelbel’s Canon and some Japanese pieces.
The concert will take place at the open stage incourtyard of the Japan Foundation Centre for Cultural Exchange, 27 Quang TrungStreet between 8pm and 9pm.-VNA
The 2nd Vietnam-Japan culture and trade exchange programme opened on November 11 in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho to promote Japanese investment in the city and other provinces in the Mekong Delta.
A free-of-charge Vietnam – Japan guitar exchange performance will be held on November 18 at the Vietnam National Academy of Music in celebration of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20).
The first Vietnam – Japan cultural exchange programme 2016 took place at Tra Vinh University on November 17 by the Vietnam – Japan Friendship Association of the Mekong Delta province of Tra Vinh.
A Japan-Vietnam festival, themed “Joining hands together”, kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City on November 18, attracting 85 Vietnamese and Japanese exhibitors with nearly 140 stalls.

The Vietnamese team will gather on June 26 in Ba Ria-Vung Tau, where they will train until July 14 before departing for Indonesia for the ASEAN U23 Championship 2025, which runs from July 15 to 29. Vietnam will face Laos on July 19 and Cambodia on July 22 in the group stage.
The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
For the first time, the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) has granted Vietnam hosting rights for the two championships, including the Asian women’s solo category, which debuts this year as an officially recognised event.
