Japanese company launches youth football camp

The Toyota Motor Vietnam Company launched the “Toyota Junior Football Clinic and Camp 2015” on June 19 for boys aged nine to 11.
The Toyota Motor Vietnam Company launched the “Toyota Junior Football Clinic and Camp 2015” on June 19 for boys aged nine to 11.

This is the first time the company has organised the event, whichwill take place in four major cities – Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nangand Can Tho - from July 5 to August 31 with assistance from the Ministryof Education and Training.

The event will feature short professional football training classes with former football star Nguyen Hong Son as coach.

The camp includes three major stages: the preliminary stage will takeplace from July 5-26 in the four cities to select 30 best players.

The training stage will take place from August 8-14in HCM City and the final stage features a trip to Japan to play afriendly match with a youth team from the Japan Football Association.

The event is part of the Toyota Mekong FootballProject initiated by the Toyota Motor Asia-Pacific since 2014 in theMekong river region.

The project includes the Toyota Mekong Clubs Championship and the Toyota Mekong Football Challenge.-VNA
