Hanoi (VNA) – The Japan Foundation Centre for Cultural Exchange inVietnam is introducing Japanese traditional dolls at an exhibition that opened atthe Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts on January 8.
The exhibition, the first of its kind in HCM City, features a total of 32traditional dolls which depict the gracefulness of Japanese girls wearing atraditional kimono dress, in addition to popular characters from Noh and Kabukiplays which are native of Japan.
Visitors will have a chance to view clay dolls and royal dolls on display atthe event.
The event will run through January 27 and entrance is free./.

The exhibition showcases more than 100 valuable documents and artifacts, divided into two main parts: “Journalist Nguyen Ai Quoc – Ho Chi Minh” and “President Ho Chi Minh – Founder and Mentor of Vietnamese Revolutionary Press.” This is an opportunity to recall the late leader’s journalism journey and affirm his exceptional role in founding and guiding the revolutionary press in Vietnam.
For the first time, the World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) has granted Vietnam hosting rights for the two championships, including the Asian women’s solo category, which debuts this year as an officially recognised event.
