Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam’s national junior team will take part in the SCG Badminton Asia Junior Championships 2016 in Thailand from July 9-17.

Le Duc Phat, Nguyen Duc Giang and Dang Quang Huy will compete in the men’s singles event. Phat and Huy will then form a pair in the men’s doubles.

Pham Thi Khanh and Tran Thi Phuong Thuy are the representatives in the women’s category. Khanh and Phat will pair up in the mixed doubles.

The players will also compete in a team event. They have been placed in Group D with India, the Philippines and the hosts.

The team games begi𓆉n on July 9 and run through July 12, while the individual tournament will b𒐪e held on July 13-17.-VNA
