Singapore (VNA) – Lao Prime Minister Thongloun Sisoulith is on anofficial visit to Singapore at the invitation of PM Lee Hsien Loong on May 2.
The one-day visit reaffirms the warm and friendly ties between Singapore andLaos, according to Singapore's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) in a statement.
The Lao PM is scheduled to call on President Tony Tan Keng Yam.
Duringhis trip, PM Thongloun Sisoulith will visit Nanyang Polytechnic and PSASingapore, and also have an orchid named after him, as well attend theLaos-Singapore business forum.
The Lao PM is accompanied by the Foreign Minister, the Minister of Public Worksand Transport and among others.-VNA
