Liberation day, President’s birth anniversary marked in Venezuela
The Embassy of Vietnam in Venezuela on April 26 paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his bust in Caracas capital city, on the occasion of the 47 years of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30) and towards the 132th birth anniversary of the late President.

It was also to mark 35 years since UNESCO honoured PresidentHo Chi Minh as ‘a national hero and a great man of culture of Vietnam’.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Venezuela Le Viet Duyen underlined PresidentHo Chi Minh’s contributions to Vietnam’s national liberation and voicedhis belief that the Vietnam-Venezuela friendship and comprehensive cooperationwill be strengthened, contributing to the countries’ development as well aspeace and stability in the regions and the world. For her part, Vice Minister of Foreign Relations ofVenezuela Capaya Rodríguez said the Government and people of the country highlyvalue the countries’ comprehensive partnership, wishing to bring the bilateral relationsto a new height and thoroughly prepare for a meeting of the inter-governmental committeein the future./.
Vietnamese Ambassador to Venezuela Le Viet Duyen paid a working visit on January 21-22 to the Guarica state of Venezuela to strengthen cooperation between localities of the two countries, especially promoting agricultural projects and other potential initiatives.

During the negotiations, the US highly evaluated Vietnam’s goodwill and efforts, affirmed its appreciation for the bilateral relationship, acknowledged Vietnam’s proposals and concerns, and considered these an important basis for continuing discussions and moving towards a final agreement.
The Chairman stressed the need for stricter fiscal discipline, faster digital transformation, and more efficient management of State budget revenues and expenditures.
