Long An, Tay Ninh leaders visit Cambodian province for Chol Chnam Thmay festival

Hanoi (VNA) – A Vietnamese delegation led by Secretary of Long An provincial PartyCommittee Nguyen Van Duoc and his counterpart in Tay Ninh province Nguyen ThanhTam on April 1 visited Cambodia’s Svay Rieng province on the occasion of CholChnam Thmay festival.
ඣ Tam expressed his pleasure toattend the Chol Chnam Thmay celebration of Cambodia and congratulated SvayRieng province for its socio-economic development achievements over the past years.
He said Long An, TayNinh, and Svay Rieng share borderlines and have long-standing solidarity and traditionalrelations.
🔴 He hopes that inthe coming time, the provinces will continue to promote their cooperation in various aspects, creating favourable conditions for investors and people in investmentand business, and coordinate to keep the border of peace and friendship, whichcontribute to fostering the relationship between Vietnam and Cambodia.
On behalf of theleaders of the two provinces of Long An and Tay Ninh, Tam wished theauthorities and people of Svay Rieng province in particular and Cambodia ingeneral to have a happy new year with many successes to come.
