KualaLumpur (VNA)🌌 – Malaysia and Singapore signed a deal on December 13to build a high-speed railway linking their capital cities of Kuala Lumpur andSingapore.

The signingof the deal took place at the 7th Malaysia-Singapore Leaders' Retreat inPutrajaya, Malaysia, witnessed by the host country’s Prime Minister Najib Razakand his Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong. The350-kilometre railway is expected to enhance connection between the twocountries. As travel time will be reduced to 90 minutes, the project also hasinfluence on various fields, including business and people-to-people relations. Singaporeis the second largest trade partner of Malaysia and two-way trade hit 59.5billion USD in 2015.-VNA
