The world-renowned Manchester United football club is bringing its Premier League trophy to Vietnam next month.
The world-renowned Manchester United football club is bringing its Premier League trophy to Vietnam next month.

This is part of their world tour to 24 countries and more than 30cities in the three continents of Asia, Europe and Africa. Thefive-month United Trophy Tour will cover 67,000 miles (107,800km).

According to the club's official website manutd.com, the BarclaysPremier League trophy, which the club won for the 20th time last year,will be accompanied by two legends, Gordon McQueen and Denis Irwin.Dwight Yorke is also expected to be present in Vietnam during this time.

The silverware has already made stopovers in Doha, Qatar and intwo Indian cities, Delhi and Mumbai. It is in Dubai in the UAE onJanuary 22 and will be flown to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia on January 23.

In February, the trophy will visit Singapore before reaching Ho ChiMinh City. The other destinations will be Bangkok in Thailand, KualaLumpur in Malaysia and Tokyo in Japan. The exact dates of the tour willbe announced soon.-VNA
