A high-ranking delegation of the Party Central Committee, State, National Assembly, Government, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee laid wreaths, and paid tribute at the mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh on the morning of April 29, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2025).
The delegation solemnly expressed profound gratitude and deep respect for President Ho Chi Minh’s immense contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on August 12 inspected the outcomes of the periodic maintenance of the Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh, and had a working session with the mausoleum's Management Board on its performance in the first half of the year.
More than 61,000 people, including 3,919 foreigners, paid tribute to President Ho Chi Minh at his mausoleum in Hanoi during the five-day National Reunification (April 30) and May Day (May 1) holidays, starting from April 27.
The Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh and the Monument to Heroic Martyrs in Hanoi will be closed to the public from June 13 to August 15 for annual maintenance this year.
The Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh will be open to the public on January 31 (the last day of the lunar year), the Management Board of the site has announced.
The Mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh and the Monument to War Heroes and Martyrs in Hanoi will be closed to the public from June 11 to August 11 for periodic maintenance this year.
