Party, State leaders pay tribute to President Ho Chi Minh on 50th anniversary of national reunification
The delegation solemnly expressed profound gratitude and deep respect for President Ho Chi Minh’s immense contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.

Hanoi (VNA) – A high-ranking delegation of the Party Central Committee, State, National Assembly, Government, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee laid wreaths and paid tribute at the mausoleum of President Ho Chi Minh on the morning of April 29, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2025).
Among those attending the ceremony were Politburo members: Party General Secretary To Lam, State President Luong Cuong, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man, Standing Member of the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat Tran Cam Tu, Secretary of the Party Central Committee and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee Do Van Chien, and Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh.
The delegation solemnly expressed profound gratitude and deep respect for President Ho Chi Minh’s immense contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation. The late leader devoted his entire life to the service of the people and the country, leading the Party and the people to glorious victories.

Following the tribute, the delegation laid wreaths and offered incense at the Monument for Heroic Martyrs on Bac Son street near the mausoleum.
ও Earlier the same day, delegations from the Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defence; the Central Public Security Party Committee, Ministry of Public Security; and the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Hanoi also visited the mausoleum and the monument to pay their respects./.
Nearly 800 journalists, including 169 foreign reporters from 39 news agencies across 17 countries, have registered to cover the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975-2025).

In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - 2025), on April 29, a delegation of incumbent and former leaders of the Party and the State, led by Party General Secretary To Lam, laid wreaths and paid tribute at President Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and the Monument to Fallen Soldiers on Bac Son Street, Hanoi.
The trip will be made at the invitations of Chinese Premier Li Qiang and WEF President and CEO Børge Brende, according to an announcement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Long spoke highly of the dynamic, positive, and comprehensive development of Vietnam – Russia relations in recent years. He affirmed that the Vietnamese Party and State place great importance on further strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership with Russia in a substantive and effective manner, in line with the development needs of both nations.
At the conference, participants reported that the Government has so far issued 28 decrees on the delegation of responsibilities and powers between the central Government and two-tier local administrations. Several localities have already piloted the new governance model.

The UN Secretary-General praised Vietnam’s remarkable achievements in socio-economic development and international integration in recent years, noting that the country has emerged as a model in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), promoting international peace and security, and engaging in key UN processes.
Nghia affirmed that this is a milestone of special significance, affirming and honouring the the Vietnamese revolutionary press’s glorious tradition of 100 years of serving the revolutionary cause of the Party, serving the Fatherland, and serving the people.

NA Chairman Tran Thanh Man stressed the need to accelerate the application of artificial intelligence and smart teaching equipment, innovate teaching and assessment methods, and further improve the quality of formal education.
