Son La (VNA) – Constructionon a memorial house dedicated to martyrs of the Son La Prison b🌸egan in thenorthern province of Son La on April 11.
Covering nearly 4,000 square metresin the Son La Prison Special National Relic Site in Son La city, the memorial housewas built at a cost of 9.6 billion VND (423,800 USD) from social sources. It isexpected to be completed later this year. The memorial house aims to raise thevalue of the relic site, thus contributing to the province’s economic andtourism development. Earlier, leaders of the provinceoffered incense in commemoration of fallen combatants at the Son La Prison SpecialNational Relic Site and the Son La Prison Cemetery.-VNA
Construction work started in Vi Xuyen district, the northernmost province of Ha Giang, on April 2 on a commemorative house for the soldiers who died while defending the country’s northern border.
