The German automobile manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has become the new sponsor of the Vietnamese men's Davis Cup tennis team, according to the Vietnam Tennis Federation (VTF).

As a newsponsor, the German side hopes it can help Vietnamese tennis playerssharpen their skills in both the domestic and international arena,claimed the company’s Sales and Marketing Director Dirk Adelmann.
The automobile giant will assist the local team – which has beenrenamed the Davis Cup Mercedes Benz Vietnam team - in preparation forthe upcoming Asia-Pacific Group II qualifying match against Pakistan,which will take place on February 14 in the Central Highlands city ofDa Lat.
The Vietnamese team’s coach Michael Barochsaid he is very excited about the opportunities that will arise fromthe link-up with Mercedes, voicing his hope that the relationship willhelp continue the fine progress made by his squad in the past year.-VNA
Nguyen Trong Nha Uyen has made history for Vietnam’s dancesport by clinching a bronze medal in the solo Latin category at the WDSF World Championship 2025 in Germany.
